Flory Bidunga's route to Louisville began in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, where he was born in 2005. At 15 he enrolled at Kokomo High School in Indiana, tied a state record with 32 consecutive made field goals, and won Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior before being named 2024 Indiana Mr. Basketball and a McDonald's All-American. He chose Kansas over Auburn, Duke and Michigan, played all 34 games as a freshman, then broke out in 2025-26: 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and a Big 12-leading 2.6 blocks per game on 64% shooting, earning Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and first-team all-conference honors. Bidunga declared for the 2026 NBA draft and attended the combine, but committed to Louisville on April 12, 2026, as the transfer portal's No. 1-ranked player, then signed after testing the draft process. He joins Louisville's frontcourt after two seasons at Kansas. Public reporting does not establish a verified NIL contract value, so no dollar figure is stated here.
2025-26: 13.3 PPG · 64 eFG%.
