De'Shayne Montgomery

G · Sr · 6'4" · Louisville Basketball

A Fort Lauderdale native, Montgomery announced himself at Mount St. Mary's, winning 2023-24 MAAC Rookie of the Year after averaging 13.2 points and 1.7 steals across 32 games. His next stop, Georgia, never took hold, 17 appearances and 6.5 points per game in 2024-25, and he entered the portal again, landing at Dayton. There the reset worked. He started all 36 games in 2025-26, averaging 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.1 steals while shooting 49 percent from the field, earning All-Atlantic 10 third-team honors; his 77 steals ranked second in the conference. On April 24, 2026, two days after visiting campus, he committed to Louisville as Pat Kelsey's fifth portal addition of the offseason. The staff views the 6-foot-5 senior as a defensive disruptor who can guard multiple positions and score without dominating the ball. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

2025-26: 13.4 PPG · 56.2 eFG%.
